As a result we go through life feeling like we're not living the life we're meant to and living way beneath our potential. We end up wasting time on social media, Netflix and other distracting behaviors as time slips away, years pass by and we continue to hold ourselves back from what we really want out of fear and lack of self-confidence.
We live in a culture that perpetuates these patterns of distraction, instant gratification and succumbing to status quo. You are not alone.

Who am I to teach you to be happy?
When I had my first child almost 9 years ago I was unhappy and unsatisfied with my life. As a new mother I felt like my life was not my own and that I had no control over my time. Although I loved being a mom I didn't love my life. I remember waking up one day and thinking to myself "this is not the life I had imagined for myself". So I began my journey seeking for a happier existence.
Then 5 years later (and another child later) I was still struggling as a yoga teacher and frustrated, burnt out mother. I was faced with a difficult decision to either find a way to live my dream or give it up for something more "sensible". I had no idea how, but I was determined not to settle because I had a feeling that more was possible. I had to learn how to overcome self-doubt, low self-worth, fear and anxiety. I began to step out of my comfort zone and push through self-defeating thoughts. I learned how to create a structure for my personal growth and a system to reach my goals.
In this challenge I share the tools, practices and thinking shifts that have enabled me to live a life I love, reach my goals and do so in a way that allows me to prioritize my self-care and live on my terms. I wake up excited for my day and end it with a deep sense of accomplishment.
